The CKE-1N collimator target sight is intended for solving the task of a bullet meeting its target and for directing the gunfire of ZUR-23-2KG and ZU-23-2K guns when combating airborne targets flying at the maximum speed of 500 m/sec, maneuvering with its course, speed or moving with uniform, straight-line motion.
In the following anti-aircraft target sights CKE-1N, CKE-2N and CP-1N there were used optical systems containing among other things noctovisor module. This device on the semitransparent panel allow simultaneous projection of a movable sight mark aiming the equipment at advance point and of target's image together with its surroundings – coming from noctovisor module; the images overlap.
