M17T - thermal imaging

The M17T periscope is a day-night observation device dedicated as a functional extension/replacement for the M17/M19/M24 day observation devices and the AN/VVS2 night periscope devices. It increases the crew's situational awareness in all visibility conditions.

Dedicated to, among others, M113 tracked transporters, M1A1 Abrams tanks, M108/M109 self-propelled howitzers, M578/M88 technical support vehicles, M2Bradley/M1126 Stryker infantry fighting vehicles.
Adaptation to other vehicles is possible.

The device is equipped with two cameras: a thermal imager and a daylight camera.
